INFO

Monsieur Plastique never intended to become a party socialite, performance artist, host, MC, make-up artist and an overall creative madman. But oh my, he is loving it!

Starting off as an "innocent" boy who just finished high school he went clubbing in Amsterdam. Dressing outrageously, full-on make-up and dancing wildly he became noticed by the party elite. During this period he became acquainted with Mar-Vellous and started working for her as a make-up artist for her performances.

Ideas started to bubble and Monsieur Plastique offered to collaborate with her to create new performances, exhibitions and so on. Because of this he started to become more and more familiar with the undeniable club life royalty, world-famous DJ's, party organizers, fashion designers etc.

Now almost 7 years later Monsieur Plastique is a big name himself as well. Hosting the stages for Extrema Outdoor, Solar festival, already every edition of Valtifest, Lowlands, Bungalup, Lowlands and all kinds of other insane, huge parties. A  muse and model for designers and photographers, in front and behind the camera.

His deep rooted love for art and fashion, in combination with his acquaintances in the world of fashion and party life, resulted in him becoming very versitale in de world of make-up.

Starting off with his first bookings for Rauw, he quickly became friends with designer Bas Kosters, who he has worked with ever since, and from there on developed himself as make-up artist for both the wild and creative, but also the commercial sides of the industry.

From creating extravagant looks for both himself and other performance artists on stages all around the world, to designing beautiful work for the catwalk during Amsterdam Fashion Week, he has learned a lot of clever tricks to work fast and precise.

1,5 years ago he got acquainted with renowned make-up artist Pascale Tesser while working with Bas Kosters for his "Love, Fuck Yeah" Amsterdam Fashion Week presentation. He modeled for the show but ended up also helping the team of Colourfool Agency in preparing the make-up for the catwalk. She then asked him to follow her course, and he now has the privilege to teach the new generation at the renowned B-Academy Make-up school, while also being part of Colourfool Agency.

Remembering his past he is looking towards the future and has no intention of slowing down whatsoever. With an unstoppable flow of creativity, energy and overall madness Monsieur Plastique is ready to take over the world!

Monsieur Plastique loves you!
